In April, 2015 Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout less than 3 minutes in Round One - becoming not only winner of the title, but being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA as this fight marked first time ever that a women was a champion with a major promoter around the world . Namajunas was able to record many other victories, including 2 victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
